Did a shoot with Ila about a week ago, with her new face-up and back-tattoo as main theme and also focusing on her bloodline, her descent. Her father is an angel, but in the story of my sister and I, angels are.. pretty insane, and not that nice at all. They also don't really cherisch human lives, because their souls will just go to the underworld for a while and get thrown back on earth again. It's a bit complicated to explain without writing every single detail.
Anyway, she's a half-angel(lalala cliché~) and inherited quite a lot from her dad, especially when it comes to the insane part.
When Ila is younger, she seems really innocent - although strange and a bit daft - but I've always wondered if it was a facade. Older Ila tends to be..darker, more manipulative, especially when it comes to using the earie innocent appearance she still has. So..I wanted to capture a sense of duality in her face-up. The contrast between her soft innocence versus the dark sinister.
